Hope & Stetson: A Vision in Fashion

After completing her studies at Sydney TAFE Fashion Design Studio and gaining experience with renowned Australian fashion labels such as Zimmermann, Shakuhachi, and Lee Jeans, Merryn Kelly sought something different. In 2014, she channeled her ambition and progressive values into the creation of Hope & Stetson.

Since its inception, Hope & Stetson has garnered attention from influential figures like IT-girls Margaret Zhang, FIGTNY, Nadia Fairfax, and Vanessa Hong. It has been described as having a ‘cult following’ by VOGUE Australia and recognized as a ‘New Face of Australian Fashion’ by Forbes.com. Merryn’s strong vision and business acumen have not gone unnoticed, earning her accolades such as a finalist position for the prestigious VAMFF National Designer Award and entry into the exclusive Project Next Gen for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia.
